Armada Night 29 mei @ Westerunie Amsterdam We voorspellen dat het op de Nederlandse straten tijdens de laatste zondag in mei erg rustig zal zijn. Die dag ligt een groot deel van de dance community namelijk nog in bed, of is simpelweg aan het bijkomen van het feest van die nacht: Armada Night in de Westerunie! Vanaf 22:00 uur staat Ruben de Ronde achter de draaitafels. Deze Nederlandse DJ/producer bracht niet alleen bracht Armada zijn ‘Natural' en ‘Grand Boulevards' uit, ook zijn remixen voor namen als Robert Nickson, W&W, Marcus Schössow en Aly & Fila vonden hun weg naar het publiek. Tijdens Armada Night zal Ruben het publiek opwarmen met zijn karakteristieke mix van progressive, house en trance. Dieper in de nacht staat de Nederlands DJ/producer en Aropa Records labeleigenaar Dash Berlin klaar om met zijn nieuwe compilatie ‘United Destination 2010' nog meer muzikale hartjes te veroveren. De trouwe Armada Night bezoeker weet zich vast en zeker vorig jaar mei nog te herinneren, toen Dash Berlin de Westerunie al eens in vervoering bracht. Dit jaar keert hij terug, met zijn uitgebalanceerde mix van big room trance en diepe progressive house met een attitude. Als het Egyptische geluid van nu en de toekomst je intrigeert, zullen de laatste namen van de line-up je zeker bekoren. Vanuit het prachtige Egypte haalt Armada Music het ongeëvenaarde trance duo Aly & Fila. Sinds februari 2010 is hun uplifting trance sound vast onderdeel van Armada Music - met het Future Sound of Egypte label als ware kweekvijver voor nieuw talent. Het debuutalbum van Aly & Fila zal vlak voor Armada Night worden uitgebracht, dus een album release party is wel op z'n plaats. Om dit te vieren, zullen Aly & Fila maar liefst 3 uur lang losgaan met de beste trance knallers van dit moment.

Armada Music kijkt terug op een fantastische reeks Armada Nights, in de club die als thuis begint te voelen. Honderden Armada fans wandelden al door het Westerpark, getrokken door de warme beats die vanuit de Westerunie klonken. Eenmaal binnen nam een gezellig sfeer het over, en brachten enkele van de beste Armada DJ's de beste tracks van dat moment ten gehore. Roger Shah, Andy Moor, John O'Callaghan, Dash Berlin, Signum en Ørjan Nilsen zijn slechts een kleine selectie DJ's die de Armada Nights al hebben gerockt. De volgende Armada Night, op zaterdag 29 mei, zal wederom een indrukwekkende line-up presenteren. Zorg er in ieder geval voor dat je je vakantie afzegt, je date verzet (of meeneemt) en je dansschoenen klaar hebt staan, want 29 mei sta jij uit je dak te gaan in de Westerunie. |

Line up Armada Night at Westerunie revealed! We predict a very silent last Sunday of May in Holland. That's when the dance community is either sleeping, reliving memories or recovering from the past night's party: Armada Night. The official line-up for the second 2010 edition of Armada Night @ Westerunie will now be revealed, and be sure: it'll provide the perfect lullaby to a good morning of sleep. Saturday the 29th of May, Westerunie venue in Amsterdam. You're sipping your drink, being surrounded by friends and likeminded music lovers. The mood is right. Music playing? The Armada sound, brought to you by Ruben de Ronde. This Dutch DJ/Producer feels right at home at Armada, having his ‘Natural' and ‘Grand Boulevards' released and tingling the senses with his prog-housy remixes for the likes of Robert Nickson, W&W, Marcus Schössow, Aly & Fila and Push. During Armada Night, Ruben will warm up the crowd with a mix of progressive, house and trance. As the night progresses, the crowd heads for a United Destination. Dutch DJ/producer and Aropa Records owner Dash Berlin will take over and showcase his new compilation ‘United Destination 2010', out on March 22nd. The dance scene still has his debut album ‘The New Daylight' on repeat and will certainly recall his set during last year's Armada Night in May. The Dash Berlin sound, a balanced blend of big room trance, deep progressive house and an unmistakable attitude, will once again give the Westerunie crowd everything it needs at that moment.
